Our Northbrook Campus
A Warm and Stimulating Learning Environment for K-8 Students
Our Northbrook Campus features bright and sunny classrooms; gymnasiums; well-equipped playgrounds, playing field, and track; three settings for prayer and spiritual growth; a student-centered library; art, music, and band rooms; a spacious lunchroom; and communal spaces to celebrate life-cycle events.
Nutrition, Health, and Wellness
We are proud of our commitment to health and wellness. Our daily kosher hot lunch program features a fresh and delicious menu including a well-stocked salad bar complete with fresh fruit and vegetables and two nutritious soups daily. The Northbrook campus encourages a nut-free and allergy-aware environment and has a nurse on-site daily for the well-being of our students.
Our Diverse and Caring Community
Our Northbrook campus welcomes families from 30 different Northshore suburbs who are affiliated with 40 synagogues, havurot and minyanim, and represent a wide spectrum of Jewish observance. Our parents are partners in their children’s education, and contribute their time, talents, energy, and creativity in and out of the classroom. Click here to learn more about our Parent Organization.
A Unique Partnership with Keshet
Our Northbrook Campus is also home to Keshet, an inclusive environment that gives children with special needs every opportunity to experience peer relationships, develop basic social skills, and interact successfully within everyday, mainstream life. Whenever possible, Keshet students participate in student life at Schechter, forging deep friendships and bonds for both Schechter and Keshet students.
